Did you get tickets to Glasto?

Our resident country hopper hit a spot of bother over the weekend. How does a traveller decide which British festivals she wants to experience? We asked her to explain her plight and ask you lot for some advice:
You know what... I had my little heart set on snapping up tickets to Glastonbury but after registering, uploading a photo, filling in countless online forms and begging friends to do the same, I woke up on the weekend and felt defeated - before I'd even started. Sure, the music will be amazing, the vibe will be there and fun will be had - but as a Glasto 'virgin' I decided the hassle just isn't worth it... it's not as if the pickings are particularly slim. Sure, it's the King, Queen and jester of British music fests but is it really the best? I'd like to hear what you guys think...
The biggest decision cruncher for me, was the lack of mates who jumped on the Glasto bandwagon this year... I'd been a pillar of organisation but the troops had let the battalion down. Cries of "We didn't get around to it", "I don't have the dosh" and "It was too much bloody effort" rang in my ears.
So, muddy gumboots and Glasto debauchery is just out of reach for me this year... on the plus side, I didn't spend a single milli-second of time on the weekend punching redial on the phone or cursing my computer.
So, the only question now is... what do I spend the cash on now? Which festival is so fantastic I'd be committing a sin worse than Hanson worshipping if I didn't go? I want to try the weird, wonderful and downright crazy. So what's it to be? Enlighten me... please.
